After reading and hearing about all the changes being made to the format of "American Idol 10", I have come up with the reason why The Powers That be are doing what they're doing:
By changing the format, they hope to eliminate untalented singers from even reaching the stage where us, the viewers, can vote for them.
In other words, TPTB have declared War on Our Movement!
In recent years, we have flexed our muscle and as a result, a couple of TPTB's Choices To Win It All didn't win.
I hope that the VFTW High Council can find some way to continue our successful record of getting some of Our Picks further along in the competition that TPTB want, and to have them win!
Yes, Our Movement has caused The Powers That Be at "American Idol" to have fits!
But we can score our biggest victory EVER tonight (November 22) on "Dancing With The Stars".
Vote For Bristol!
Vote For Bristol!
Vote For Bristol!
Just wait til TPTB at "Dancing" have to recognize that Their Dancers didn't win!
Last year, the reason Their Adam didn't win was Our Movement.
We convinced millions to vote for Our Kris, and he won, destroying TPTB's plans to make Their Adam the next big star.
Last night, Our Lee totally annihilated U-2's "Beautiful Day". It was the best VFTW moment since Our Tim got voted-off.
The next post in this thread is a report on Dial Idol.com's analysis of the phone vote after last night's (May 25th) final sing-off.
If you don't want to know what they think, do not open this thread until you have seen the final results show.
And as usual, their analysis is neither official nor scientific.
P.S.: I voted for Our Lee for four full hours. My fingers are still sore from pressing the "redial" buttons!
This week (April 20th-21st) is the biggest week yet for Our Movement.
We need to keep Our Tim in to the end, and for him to win!
We can do it.
Get everyone you know to vote for Our Tim.
We can give The Powers That Be a lesson they won't soon forget!
The next post in this thread is an analysis of Dial Idol.com's findings for Top 9 Week, Part Deux.
If you don't want to know what they think, do not open this thread until the results show has been broadcast in your area.
Was Our Tim's butchering of "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" (Elvis' first big hit recorded and released after his two-year Army stint) enough to keep him in and avoid the "Dramatic Double Elimination???
(As usual, Dial Idol.com's findings are neither official nor scientific)
Last week (April 8th), no one got voted-off because the judges used their once-a-year "save".
This means that this week (April 14th-15th), two Idols will be voted-off.
It is important that Our Movement spread the word between now and the night of the 14th to vote for Our Tim early and often.
If he survives this week's double elimination, he'll finish no worst than seventh. And with Our Movement growing by leaps and bounds, Our Tim can finish much higher than that.
So what if Our Tim has been called "The worst Top 24/Top 12 contestant in 'Idol' history"??
He is exactly what Our Movement is all about.
We must propel him to victory.
The next post in this thread is Dial Idol.com's analysis of the voting for Top 9 Week.
After mangling the Beatles' classic "All My Loving", how did Our Tim do??
As always, Dial Idol is neither official nor scientific.
The Powers That Be would like to see Our Tim go away.
But he won't.
Thanks to Our Movement (not to mention all those female tweens out there), he's still in the competition.
He'll be going on tour, so expect sellout crowds with 13-year-old girls acting like melting putty for Our Tim, the same way their older sisters a few years back went for Our Sanjaya.
I think Our Tim deserves a place of honor in the VFTW Hall Of Fame.
He may be one of the best examples ever of what Our Movement is about.
Dial Idol.com has made it's projections on who might stay and who might get voted off.
As always, their analysis is neither official nor scientific.
The next post in this thread will mention what they think.
The VFTW High Council made a brilliant selection when it picked Tim as Our Movement's pick.
Last night (March 16), he absolutely destroyed "Under My Thumb", the Rolling Stones tune he sang.
This is what Our Movement is all about.
I voted for him for two full hours.
Hopefully, he'll go all the way and be declared the winner on May 26th.
Then watch him become the most successful recording artist ever to come out of "Idol".
Our Movement is growing. It is becoming more influential.
And there is nothing that The Powers That Be can do to stop us!
